The bag is well made as described and looks great. I use it with a Surface Pro 6 in a UAG cover and there's ample room for it in the front compartment or in the main compartment. These are the interior dimensions for all of the compartments and pockets:
Main Compartment: 17" wide x 12" high x 5" deep
Front Compartment: 16" wide x 11" high x 2" deep
Front Left Vertical Pocket: 5" wide x 8.5" high x 2" deep
Two Small Vertical Front Pockets (both are the same size): 4" wide x 4.5" high x 1" deep

This bag is going to replace my patrol bag on duty. It’s a good size for my needs. Easy to grab and go, and big enough to be seat-belted on the passenger side of the cruiser. Internally there are a couple of dividers. Outside there are several deep and sturdy compartments. It appears to be well built. The best thing I’ve found is because it isn’t a black bag I can actually see the bottom when I’m looking for something small inside. There are plenty of loops and other places to connect things as well. It looks like it will last awhile.

I love this bag. It was fun exploring all the pockets and hidden compartments. So far 3 people have made comments and wanted a closer look - 2 from work and the cashier at the grocery store. I have found at least 3 expansion areas so far along with one of the sides opening up once the Velco is parted. There are many Velcro pieces and all are great fasteners. Yesterday I realized there is another place on the top for a pen. My only pet peeve is that the bag will tip over if I have too much stuff in the front. So I had to move some of my things to the rear. Also I was not too wild about the color options. I have tan. It's OK. Otherwise it's a fantastic accessory.

I noticed someone said this bag can't hold a 15.6" laptop, well it holds my 15.6 gaming laptop just fine plus the cinder block sized power adapter, all cables, 2 external hard drives, tablet, phone, boogie board, gaming mouse, with room to spare no problem. I have to mobile since I'm an architectural designer, single dad with kids who still in high school. I had all my office stuffed in backpack not even remotely suitable for holding a laptop safely and trashed one external hard drive because stuff bounced around and broke the cable in the hard drive to the point I can't get it out. At my age I'm kinda tired of lugging up a 50 to 60 lb. Backpack up and down stairs all day at office especially after 2 tours in Afghanistan. It just arrived today and was amazed at how much it held and doesn't feel nearly as heavy as backpack did. Will update this if anything changes but for the price I could not beat it and my boys agree after seeing it fully loaded and lifting it themselves. If anyone wonders why use a gaming mouse it's because I'm right handed and my hand had a piece of shrapnel go through it in Afghanistan and cupping my hand cause extreme cramps in it now so the gaming is perfect because I can adjust how my hand sits on it. Downside is it's a wired mouse but I don't get the lock up cramps that almost ended my career. Great bag, laptop fits as I said but it's a little close but nothing I'm worried about, otherwise it's completely perfect for work and in the field. As for the strap breaking which I've read about before buying I would recommend invested in a couple of metal d-rings and add them as extra reinforcement for the plastic ones. Sorry but military experience has taught me plastic isn't beating metal in this area. Did that mod to every pack since then. Thank you!

Just got it so I can't say anything about durability but it appears to be the greatest tactical briefcase you could ask for. After reading some of these reviews I was worried about the size not being large enough but it is the perfect jumbo size. If I was looking for something larger I would probably just get a rolling toolbox bc any bigger than this would look goofy so if you're looking for something small you got the wrong one. This review is for the 15.6 GES tactical briefcase, I absolutely love this bag!!! I purchased it for work and didn't want something to big and bulky but can still hold everything. In the top compartment I fit my 15.6 laptop, 12.9 iPad pro, & and my leather portfolio with note book, paperwork, pens & etc. The top as 2 well made zippers that can be unzipped separately to get into each compartment which is nice but I tied a piece of paracord to them so I can zip them both in 1 pull. Side compartment fits another notepad, pens, flash drives, stapler, screwdriver, extra masks, and still has room for more. 4 smaller side compartments fit laptop charger, regular chargers, wireless mouse, and power bank... I can't stress how perfect this bag is. Not super big and bulky but big enough to fit everything I need.
I work on construction sites & I snagged mine pretty bad (my fault) still usable but I will be buying 2 more when I can. All of my coworkers that have seen my bag want it so I sent them the Amazon link for this GES 15.6. So they know they are getting the same good quality bag.

I'm giving this bag 4 stars, even though I'm returning it. It's a good bag, seems well-constructed. But it just didn't have enough internal space for my needs. It seemed thicker based on the dimensions. Some more images from the manufacturer would have been helpful.
This is more of a laptop case, I was hoping to use it as a gadget bag, for my 10" tablet, cords, chargers, portable batteries, dashboard mounts, etc. There just wasn't enough clearance for the slightly bulkier stuff.It does have MOLLE straps on both ends, and three on the top where it unzips.
I didn't care for the the zipper top. It's a dual zipper, but they're not connected, so you have to open two zippers instead of a single pull for both. You could probably attach a short cord to connect them, but I still don't like that style of top. This was kind of an experiment for me, and it didn't work out. But if you're looking for a decent tactical laptop bag, with some accessories, this will do the job.

The material is nice and thick. It's a durable material. There are a few points where I think stitching might fail if double stitching is not used, but time will tell. There are 4 external pockets. All of them are decent size and the flaps are secure. My other concern is the zippers. Upon arrival one zipper was open in the middle while zipped. It did zip right back up but I'm hoping that won't be a future issue with teeth separating on me.
The handle is nice and strong. There are MOLLE type attachment areas on either end so you can add things there if you want.
It has plenty of room inside for at least two laptops. However, be careful and look at the size. This will NOT fit a 17" laptop. It's not advertised to either. I do wish there were some smaller pockets inside for things like pens or other small items. There are flat divider pockets for paperwork but nothing for small bulky items to store inside the main compartment.
Mine also came with two removeable should straps. Not sure why but whatever. I'll take it.
Overall, good bag, durable and the price is right.

As an educator, I'm often called on to take many stacks of papers back and forth and this case has more than enough room for that and a laptop (and other gear). I don't know what it is with "tacticool" stuff, but it seems like they just load it up with unnecessary clips, straps, and MOLLE stuff where it can't be practically used. This bag is very good for the price. 15" laptop is a snug fit, but the padding is minimal. It does have extra plastic clips in various places. For some reason there's a strap across the top of the case that seems useless/redundant. There's also MOLLE webbing on the top. Can't think of what you would put there.
This is fairly small (narrow). Could stand a few more inches. A lapto and 2" binder would pretty much fill the main pocket.

I’d like to say I am a serious critic, so most will probably give higher approval ratings, besides. I think the bag is decently made, but has a few engineering / design mistakes, that could easily rectified, and make the bag a five star item. First, the velcro is of very poor quality, and should be replaced with snaps, or zippers. The pouches that have straps, would function better, and stay secured, if sewn in the proper way, direction-wise. That way, the strap would retain closure, of the pouches they are supposed to secure. Aside from these few flaws, the bag does separate multiple things well, and holds a lot of items. It definitely has potential, and could be the “go-to” bag, with minor changes. I’d buy it again.

It's not bad enough for me not to use it but this thing feels way heavier than a bag of its size ought to. The four pockets on the front are not designed very well. They look big but when you try to actually put things in them they somehow they feel tiny on the inside. The search for the perfect bag continues

Unfortunately the zippers are not as good as the rest of the bag. The bag, at first opinion, seams to be of good quality. My largest gripe is that the buckeled straps, although aestheticly pleasing are a nuisance. The dual zipper on top is also a pain but can be fix by connecting the two together.

Claims to be 17" for 15" computer. I CAN NOT fit my 15" HP into the padded compartment. My 12" HP fits fine. Depth is no more than 4". I really wanted this for the two end pockets to carry water. My water bottles do not fit! I would not recommend this bag for anything greater than a 12-13-inch computer and if you really want to carry water bottles then you will need an external molle attachment. I feel that the pictures and size are really greatly exaggerated. It does seem to be well padded on the sides but the bottom, as on most cases, is poorly padded (I added my own 1" foam padding. The cost is reasonable if you know what you are REALLY getting.

I knew it would happen eventually, and I thought this bag as advertised would prevent it, but my laptop was damaged today when the strap on the bag snapped out of place and the bag fell on the sidewalk. I got this bag partially because of it was supposed to have this shock absorption property that would protect my laptop from such a drop. Clearly, it didn't live up to its promise. I got home and took out my laptop and saw that the edges were chipped away, revealing the metal underneath. It is really disappointing, so I just wanted to make sure that others who are considering this bag know about what happened to my brand new laptop.

The configuration along the top of the bag (dual zippers, strange little flap on the end, and strap with clip across the opening) make it a hassle to put a laptop or padfolio into the bag. It's hard to determine this early, but I question the durability of the bag. It doesn't feel like it will last long and I thought it smelled bad as well. It's not a terrible bag for the price,and I would've probably given it 3 stars, but when I went to return it, they are charging me $8. So all of those things combined, make this a 1 star experience for me.

I only use this bag on the odd occasion I take my laptop out of the office. And when that happens it usually sits on the floor in my back seat or in my house. Within a few months it started coming apart. Just inside of the zipper the nylon lining started ripping out and the foam is now exposed. Looks like I’m getting a free extra pocket on the inside I guess.

Lots of pockets and space but it only survived 6 weeks before Material began separating at the seams and I had to replace the bag due to seams and separation after only 9 weeks. Typically I can use a bag for around a year before it needs to be replaced.
